Refund & Cancellation Policy
This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for paid subscriptions to Volkano AI. By subscribing to the Service, you agree to the terms set out below in addition to our Terms & Conditions.
01Cancelling Your Subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings, or by emailing santoshgsk@volkano.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you will continue to have access to paid features until that date.
02Monthly Plans
Monthly subscriptions are billed in advance for one month of service. They are non-refundable. When you cancel, your plan remains active until the end of the paid month, after which it will not renew.
03Annual Plans
Annual subscriptions are billed in advance for twelve months of service at a discounted rate. If you cancel an annual plan, you may request a pro-rata refund for the unused full months remaining, less any discount that was applied for committing to the annual term. Partial months are not refunded.
0414-Day First-Time Refund
If you are subscribing to a paid Volkano AI plan for the first time and find that the Service does not meet your needs, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your initial payment. This applies once per organisation and only to the first paid plan. To request a refund, email santoshgsk@volkano.ai with your account email and a brief description of the issue.
05Non-Refundable Items
The following are not eligible for refunds:
- Renewal payments after the first 14 days of a new subscription;
- Add-on credits, usage overages, and one-time service fees that have already been consumed;
- Custom onboarding, training, or professional-services engagements that have begun;
- Accounts terminated for breach of our Terms & Conditions.
06Service Outages
If the Service experiences an extended outage caused by us, we may, at our discretion, issue a service credit applied to your next invoice. Credits are not redeemable for cash.
07How Refunds Are Processed
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days. Depending on your bank or card issuer, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement. Currency conversion and bank fees, where applicable, are not reimbursed.
08Downgrades
You can downgrade to a lower-tier plan at any time. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing period. We do not refund the difference for the current period.
09Data After Cancellation
After your subscription ends, your account becomes read-only for 30 days, during which you can export your data. After 30 days, your data is permanently deleted in line with our Privacy Policy, unless we are required to retain it for legal or accounting reasons.
10Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund & Cancellation Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-product notice. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
